Edith Helena Adie was a British watercolour artist born in 1865 in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. She was the daughter of a clergyman, and the environment she grew up in was likely to have fostered her love for the arts. Like many women artists of her time, Adie's work was largely overlooked during her lifetime and has only gained more recognition posthumously.

Adie was known for her watercolours, particularly her floral subjects, landscapes, and garden scenes. Her work was characterized by a delicate touch and a fine sense of colour and light.
