Gerassim S. Golowkow, also known as Gerasim Golovkov, was a Russian-born French artist, recognized for his contributions to modern art during the 20th century. Born in 1900 in Russia, Golowkow experienced the tumultuous period of the Russian Revolution and the subsequent civil war, events that would inevitably influence his artistic direction.
